Hey Bryce glad to help! For me twitter is less about messaging friends (txt) or posting thoughts and ideas longform (blog) twitter is about connecting with new people, people you may never meet in real life, but who have cool ideas and insights that you would otherwise be missing.

For example, I am in contact with a bunch of tcbn bloggers through twitter. These are people that I probably wouldn't be txting or blogging to (except for this post lol) but they are still people who are my age, with cool ideas, and who are into social media (they're on tcbn after all!) so in that way twitter helps me connect with them. Its about exploring and connecting really.

That is just one small example, there are more- maybe someone can post why THEY use twitter?

Hey Dan, thanks for the Post. Helps a bit, although I still don't Fully understand why I would want to use twitter over Text messaging (for when im on the go) or post on my blog (for when im at the computer).

Maybe I'll find out someday, but for now its still intimidating and confusing.

Thanks for the article anyways!
