For me twitter is less about messaging friends (txt) or posting thoughts and ideas longform (blog) twitter is about connecting with new people, people you may never meet in real life, but who have cool ideas and insights that you would otherwise be missing.<br><br>For example, I am in contact with a bunch of tcbn bloggers through twitter. These are people that I probably wouldn't be txting or blogging to (except for this post lol) but they are still people who are my age, with cool ideas, and who are into social media (they're on tcbn after all!) so in that way twitter helps me connect with them.
