Honda-Tech Yahoo Widget

| When we were assigned to develop a widget for one my courses using the Yahoo Widget Engine, I wanted to create something I would actually use. Honda-Tech.com is a forum I like to visit when I need information on my car or when I need to find good deals on used car parts. Naturally this leads me to checking the forums several times a day. Opening a browser and clicking a bunch of links to view topics isn’t hard, but I think I can make it easier.So I developed this Yahoo Widget which works using RSS feeds that Honda-Tech publishes. The widget allows you to browse all the forums from one central location, as well as see the latest posts in each forum. Additionally it automagically updates every 3min to always keep you on top of things. |
